Stamats, an integrated marketing communications company, is looking for an Account Manager to lead, manage, and sell/upsell client projects. Our Account Managers lead multidisciplinary teams, both in-house and on the client’s side, to achieve established project goals. The person for this position should have a strong, assertive leadership style with exceptional organizational skills. Collaboration, teamwork, and time management talent is essential to the success of this role.

We are seeking an extraordinary individual with these skills and experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in marketing planning in an account service capacity at a previous agency or corporate marketing environment
  • A desire to seek, establish, build, and most importantly – lead – relationships with clients. Retaining and expanding client accounts from year-to-year is essential
  • Ability to look for opportunities to upsell sold business
  • Ability to create, monitor, and maintain marketing budgets and manage to them
  • A “never let them see you sweat” attitude, both internally and externally
  • Develop and participate in client presentations and pitches as needed
  • Develop an understanding of our clients’ marketing needs and factors affecting success, while driving the company to produce its best results
  • Know digital and social media marketing strategies and tactics in order to aid in delivering these to clients
  • Know website redesign processes in order to aid in delivering new websites to clients
  • Recognize project risks and know how to react
  • Lead an internal team which could include the consultant, project manager, designer, writer, digital strategist, or research analyst
  • Ability to work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identify actions for implementation in order to meet client goals

You will find it expedient to have:

  • Account/program/project management experience (required)
  • Sales and marketing experience (required)
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent experience (required)
