Desktop Support Specialist

Stamats Communications in Cedar Rapids, IA has an opening for a Desktop Support Specialist with a minimum of 2+ years of solid IT experience. The ideal candidate will provide excellent end user experience, resolving technical issues for all our employees, including those in our offsite offices. This position will be involved in implementing and supporting tech driven solutions, hardware devices and other peripherals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain desktop assets and reallocation of daily system level services
  • Ensure the integrity of all desktop-based information through security protocols, password administration, and local back-ups when needed
  • Maintain daily IT support and system functionality across the corporation
  • Manage Office 365 users and licensing
  • Creating user accounts
  • Providing resources
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
  • Responding to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Documenting, tracking and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

We are looking for an individual proficient in:

  • Windows 10
  • Network connectivity
  • Office 365 (not required but a definite plus!)
  • Excellent Oral and written communication

This position is located in our Cedar Rapids offices.
