Digital Strategist

stamats Stamats Communications

Stamats comprises multiple divisions, each with a distinct market or service; our common thread is the expertise to build connection in various media.

Google Analytics and a Suitcase, Please

Stamats seeks a digital strategist to work primarily with higher education clients.

Our strategists work in all areas of an institution’s externally focused digital presence, but spend most of their time on:

  • Campaign strategy
    • Search, Social & Display
    • Email nurture streams
    • CRM/MA optimization
  • Website redesign
    • Information architecture
    • The technical side of content strategy
    • CMS selection and implementation

Additionally, our digital strategists consult on web governance, data visualization, analytics implementation, and emerging digital trends.

If you lean toward campaign strategy, but can pinch hit in the other areas as well—perfect.

Day-to-day, you would work with a team of content strategists, writers, graphic designers, UX specialists, web developers, consultants, sales people, and project managers. Each with their own strengths; all working together to help our clients succeed.

So, what can you bring to our table? A mind open to patterns? The ability to simplify and clarify the complex? Cooperative and collaborative work attitude, yet able to dig into a project and work independently?

OK, that’s pretty generic. More specifically, do you have::

  • Experience in higher education marketing or web services?
  • Experience with digital promotion campaigns that integrate with CRM/MA platforms?
  • Experience creating navigation paths and information architecture for larger sites?
  • All three would be phenomenal—how about two of the three?

Other things you might need:

  • Shiny Objects: Google Analytics and AdWords certification
  • Nice: We’re based in Iowa, so a little bit of nice works wonders on us
  • Words: We work with clients who take their words seriously—if you can write your way out of a paper bag and/or present with clarity and conviction, that’s a definite plus.
  • Suitcase: We often go to our clients, so travel happens. You do get to keep your frequent flyer miles, though.

If you think you’re the right fit, we’d love to hear from you. Forward your resume, cover letter, and salary requirements via the link below, or mail them to Human Resources, Stamats Communications, 615 5th St. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA, 52401.  AA/EOE. We are a small company and do not participate in the H-1B visa program. No phone calls, please.
